About 4 hours.

6 to 6.5 hours (I know for a fact). When you book a flight it will tell you your aproxamite arrival time.
3 :
about 5 hrs but can change from carrier to carrier.
4 :
if you are traveling with a boeing 747 it should take about 5.5 hours a smaller plane can take about 7 hours

non-stop is approx 5-6 hours, but count on losing a whole 8-10 hours of your day with an early arrival for security checks, on/off, luggage and all the delays. Flying in & out of SF is tricky this time of year - Northern California winters are all rain, rain, rain - I have 10+ years dealing with that airport and their winter weather. Have never been diverted to another airport, but have had to circle it for a long time. Be prepared for that part of it. Have a good trip!!

Average the direct flight is 8hour(with light meal) If you consider connection, then the flight time will be ~10hour or more. P/S: If you plan to travel this season(Winter or Spring), be prepare for flight delay. Try to get the early morning flight, which most of them still on schedule.

According to United Airlines schedule the flight time from Washington Dulles Airport (IAD) to San Francisco (SFO) is between 5:52 hours to 6:00 hours. UA285, UA217, UA219 & UA225 flies Boeing 757-200 with flight time of 5:52 hours. UA915 flies Boeing 767-300 with flight time of 5:52 hours. UA871 also flies Boeing 767-300 but the flight time is 5:55 hours. UA937 flies Airbus A319 for 5:57 hours and UA837 flies Airbus A320 for 6:00 hours. FYI - no non-stop flights from Washington National airport (DCA) The actual flight time might vary due to routing, weather and headwind (jetstream).

Well, it's 5 hours (non stop) from Los Angeles to Indiana. Too long if you're over 6' and flying cattle/cargo class.
