Connecting United Airlines flight at San Francisco International

Connecting United Airlines flight at San Francisco International?
I fly into SFO from Auckland using Air NZ next month (Mar 2009). The flight touches down at 11:30 AM and my connecting flight to Seattle using United Airlines departs SFO at 01:50 PM. Will my make it considering factors such as 1. Fog and weather conditions typical at SFO 2. Occupy last 3 rows of a almost fully loaded 747 - time to get out of the plane 3. Queue at Immigration counter - non US citizen (alien) 4. Collection of baggage and clearing customs 5. Baggage transfer to United 6. Passing through security at domestic terminal gate for United Air NZ and United codeshare and the baggage is tagged to the final destination upon check-in. No separate ticket booking. Kindly advise.

That should be plenty of time, as long as you don't get held up at customs. Hopefully its a weekday, it'll be a little slower in the airport. Good luck!

The detail and clarity of your question lends me to believe you are a well informed traveler. You have nothing to worry about the codeshare agreement and the 2 hrs + between conections means both airlines agree that barring unforseen circumstances you will make your conection. If not they will rebook you at no additional cost. You will have to reclaim your bags in SFO to clear US customs and immigration and then give your luggage to the transfer desk for your airline then all you have to do is clear TSA. Your pilots and aircraft are trained and equiped to deal with fog etc. So sit back and enjoy your flight.

San Francisco to Las Vegas is about 1 1/2 hour long plane flight. L.A. to Vegas is about an hour flight.
2 :
about 40 mins in the air between LAS and LAX and about 1.5 hours betwen LAS and SFO and you often get a load of turbulance
3 :
sf is like 90 minutes and la is 60- do not get sucked into a transfer in phoenix or you will go nutty.

Will Brisbane airport soon offer flights to San Francisco

Will Brisbane airport soon offer flights to San Francisco?
I saw a sign recently at the Brisbane airport (BNE) and it said something about flying to SFO. Will they soon start offering direct flights to San Francisco?

When I was there they didn't offer direct flights to San Francisco, you probably will be making a stop in Amsterdam first. http://www.yukiba.com/2174003-brisbane-australia-map.html
2 :
Maybe, but at the moment Qantas is cutting flights.
3 :
not anytime soon, IF we do get flights there they wont be for a couple of years, until Qantas gets its 787s but again this is unlikely And if you are going to SFO you WILL NOT make a stop in Amsterdam, this would be going backwards. Youd stop either in Auckland, Los Angeles or Sydney.
