I would go to kayak.com They are a search engine that searches all the major websites/ You may want to search nearby airports as Oakland is often cheaper

Should I book a flight from Los Angeles to San Francisco for late December now or wait until December to book. Will it be less expensive to book now or in December?

I am a travel agent in the UK. This is a no-brainer! You should not book it now, you should book it yesterday! Generally, scheduled airlines ration how many seats they sell in each price baracket - the fuller the plane, the more you will pay.

How early do I need to arrive at San Francisco Airport BART Station to catch a 12:50 PM flight on a Saturday?
1. How long does security take in Terminal of San Francisco Airport on a Saturday around 11 AM- 12 PM? 2. If desired is it possible to walk from the BART station to Terminal One without going through security before I reach Terminal 1 or do I have to take the AirTrain?

best to be at the airport at 10:50 two hours(sooner if u could) ahead to check in and what not. Or else the line will get CRAZY!!!!! usually the it takes 30 min from the bart to the terminal. usually they have buses that runs to and from the airport.
