If I want to book a HK-San Francisco-HK flight in Sept., when is the cheapest time to book it online

If I want to book a HK-San Francisco-HK flight in Sept., when is the cheapest time to book it online?
Should I book it 1, 2, 3 months in advance? Because it's peak season from June-August (summer vacation), so I'm thinking if I book the flight as early as June, the airlines might still be jacking up the price since it is too early to book it. To answer the question, I'm booking online because I'm in China and I don't know any travel agencies here yet. And I thought it would be cheaper to book online coz there's cheap flight websites.

why would you book it on line???

I would book it at least 2 months in advance. Airfare is constantly changing and with the price of oil rising all the time, the sooner you book the ticket, the better price you should be able to get. Also I think the HK-SFO route is pretty popular, especially during the summer. I will be flying Singapore Airlines from San Francisco with a stopover in Hong Kong and then onto Singapore. I think my flight is already booked solid since when I looked for my flight to check how much the ticket went up, my flight number did not show up.

It's 224,000 yen. But this is the price for booking in Japan. I'm not sure how much it is if you book it in US.

Me and my boyfriend are going to San Francisco our flight was really cheap we also have a hotel and a rental car. So I'm just wondering what are some must see's wile we are there? I really just dont know whats in that area. Other then the ocean that I love, the golengate bridge, I'm sure we will see and Alcatraz, not sure if we want to see it or not.

Go to Haight and Ashbury Streets, too. It's a great place to walk around, window shop, grab a bite, and really experience San Francisco.

Winchester Mystery Mansion, Wax museum, helicopter ride, Haight-Ashbury, Trolley rides, Chinatown, North beach, Ripleys believe it or not museum.

I would look up the "Beach Blanket Babloyn" spelling might be off but its a hell of a show . . . other than that . . . Gherindelli square . . . the curviest road . . . china town . . . try some of the many ethnic foods . . . alcatraz is pretty cool . . . umm . . . other than that . . . I hate S.F.!!!!!!!

The pier is nice and you can have soup in a breadbowl, yum!! I have never been to Alcatraz, I keep meaning to do it by the waits are long ,etc. Walking or biking across the Golden Gate bridge would be fabulous. The stores along the pier are nice, but they get old fast (I'm not much of a shopper) and the one really interesting store closed down (a Michael Goddard gallery). Personally I'm done after a couple of hours. Napa is very close by, you could drive (or take a bus if you really want to sample the wine). Lombard lane is cool (the zig zaggy one) but I don't think they let you drive down it anymore. Have fun! I just went again a couple of weeks ago. It's a cool city.

You have a rental car, so you can go on any number of daytrips within a two hour radius of San Francisco. As with New York City or Washington DC, you'll see a bunch of landmarks - the Golden Gate Bridge, Transamerica Building, Coit Tower, Chinatown Gate, Grace Cathedral, Lombard Street, the California Supreme Court, Palace of Fine Arts - just by driving around at random. So it would be redundant for me to suggest that you visit those. You're going to see them anyway. Head to the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk (the "Coney Island" of the West Coast). http://www.beachboardwalk.com/ If you want a zoo with thrill rides, go to Six Flags Discovery Kingdom. If you just want the thrill rides, drive down to Great America. http://www.sixflags.com/discoveryKingdom/ http://www.pgathrills.com/ For outdoors activities, head to Golden Gate Park (which has everything from horseback riding to archery). Or go for a hike in the Marin Headlands and Muir Woods. Some of the trees in Muir Woods are the size of 40 floor skyscrapers (among the tallest anywhere). Alcatraz is famous because of the prison. But going to a jail is depressing to some people. If you don't know if you'd like to tour Alcatraz, you should go to Angel Island instead. It is one of the more attractive harbor islands. And there's plenty of space for biking and hiking. http://www.blueandgoldfleet.com/Ferry/Angel/angelislandsummer051208102608.cfm If you're old enough to enjoy it, Wine Country is great for relaxation. Take a tour of the wineries. Or visit a spa. http://www.sonoma.com/ http://www.napavalley.org/

I would not miss Point Reyes, http://www.nps.gov/pore/ Napa Wine country, http://www.napavalley.com/wineries/ and Muir woods-http://www.visitmuirwoods.com/

be there by 6:00-6:15. make sure you have all your toiletries in a clear plastic bag and easily accessable. nothing in a bottle over like 2 ounces?? no water...wear comfortable shoes that are easy to slip off because they make you take them off. dont bring any knives or anything sharp.

Wake up at 4:00 am Eat ....etc check all your things wear comfortable clothes n shoes leave at around 5:00 Hope this helps

For Trans-Pacific flights, I would get there at least three hours like for International Flights. This will give you enough time to clear the Agricultural Inspection, Check-In Your Baggage, Clear TSA Security and have plenty of time to rest at the gate while waiting for your time to board. One-hour and a half is not sufficient amount of time! You will be rushing!!!
