What is the closest flight school/club to San Francisco?
May be going to school in SF next year and am hoping to build time for my commercial while I'm there. I may not have access to a car, so any suggestions that don't involve driving (or at least driving too far) would be VERY much appreciated. I noticed that BART goes from SF to Oakland Airport. Has anyone done this? How is the walk from the BART station to the GA side of OAK? Thanks

There is a small airport in the town of San Carlos, which is between SF and San Jose. There may be an FBO there who can help you with your time-building. I don't know how the BART works going to Oakland.

Im thinking of going to Ireland somewhere at the end of January/february. I'm on a tight budget. Are there any airlines/special deals that are super cheap?

Why do you think people living in Ireland would know about cheap flights FROM America. I live in Co. Cork, why would I know about cheap flights from America. People might know about companies offering cheap flights TO America if they have been recently. You might do better to ask the the American section of Y!A really?

how long is a flight from burbank to san francisco?
i just wanted to know how long a flight from burbank airport to san francisco airport is, PLEASE HELP!!

well the flight from san diego to sf is 1 hour roughly, so i'm guessing from burbank it can't be more than 45 min

Met a girl on a flight to San Francisco last year....still thinking about her
Met a girl on a flight to San Francisco last year....still thinking about her....?
So here's the story...Went to SF last year for a conference and was seated next to a girl with whom I had crossed paths with in the waiting lounge at the airport. When I got to my seat she was seated next to me! We spent the next four hours chatting it up and we had a lot in common. Once at the airport in SF(she lives there) we walked together to the luggage pickup area and then awkwardly said goodbye. At that point I thought I would never see her again and left it at that. The next day I went out exploring SF(I live in Canada) on foot and stopped at a Safeway to get a bottle of water. There she was doing her groceries! Of course I went up to her and she offered to drive me back to my hotel. I proposed that we stop for dinner on the way, which we did, and then I was dropped off at my hotel and it ended there. I got an email from her roughly a month after but haven't heard since. In spite of my sending 2 or 3 messages since. What was that? Was it fate? Should I keep trying? Confused
