Nope, all the flights to Manila from SFO or LAX are non-stop. I don't believe PAL even flies to Guam anymore. http://www.philippineairlines.com/home/home.jsp

Well i suggest if you are going to fly on a plane to wear a diguise. Per say maybe a LONG BEARD and a towel around your head. And make sure to bring lots of fluids. and make sure to open up watches and such electronics and bring the opened electronics on the plane on your carry on with the wires exposed and such. And sing the song You Dropped The Bomb On Me outloud the entire plane ride

To make the flight a more pleasant experience, put all liquids in your check-in bag and not in your carry-on. There will be long lines, so be patient. And buy Dramamine - chewables. I've flown several times since 9/11. I have several friends that are airline pilots and flight attendants. It is safer now than ever to travel. Relax and have a safe flight.

Things have really settled down since the post 911 days. I mean as far as the overall feeling that is in the airport. I traveled alot in late 2001 and early 2002, and man was in uncomfortable and eerie at most airports. Things are better today. My best advice is to arive at the airport early. Beacuse lines have gotten longer since before 911. I would advise 2 hours. That way incase you do have issues, you will have ample time to correct them. Also remember that if you carry liquids in your carry-on, they need to be in 3 ounce bottles and be in a clear ziplock bag. Otherwise you will have to put them your checked luggage.

I flew in February from Newark to Las Vegas, and they seem to have their routine down a little better than before. Check out your airport website--it has the info so you know what you can bring and what you can't, wait times, etc. http://www.san.org/

For starters, some of the most important information you can have is about what you can and can't pack, and whether it can be carried on or checked. Here are a couple of links to TSA web pages that you should familiarize yourself with. The first is the TSA prohibited items list, the second is the TSA 3-1-1 liquid carry-on guidelines: http://www.tsa.gov/travelers/airtravel/prohibited/permitted-prohibited-items.shtm http://www.tsa.gov/311/index.shtm Make sure you get to the airport at least 2 hours before your scheduled flight (check what the airline has to say about arrival time as depending upon the size and normal crowd level of the airport, you may have to be there a little earlier even). At the security checkpoint you are required to remove your shoes and have them screened, so I would advise wearing shoes that are easy to remove and put on, as well as socks so you're not barefoot on the airport floor. If you carry on liquids (all under 3.4 oz. and placed in a 1-quart zip-top bag) the bag will have to be taken out of your carry-on so security personal can see it. All of the security measures can be a nuisance, but they're in place to protect us, and it's really not all that bad. It usually takes me around 5 minutes, if that, to get all the way through the security checkpoint. Depending on what all you're carrying on though, your stuff can become separated if it's in different bins, so just double check to make sure you have everything before leaving the security checkpoint.

Bring knock out gas. To put up to the kid behind you's mouth, who kicks you hard.

Washington DC
2 :
The closest location to Atlanta would be Orlando (6-7 hour drive from Atlanta), followed by Washington DC (which is about a 9 hour drive), then Miami.
3 :
Know that closest doesn't necessarily mean cheapest, if that's why you're asking. Popular routes tend to have better deals.... (but the closest -- by a few hours -- is Orlando, FL)
4 :
Orlando is the closest at 7 hours driving time. Washington DC would be next at 10 hours. Open up Google Maps and take a look for yourself.

An airport. And be careful of Swine Flu. There have been cases of the Swine Flu in California. If you don't know what swine flu is look it up on google.com. It comes from pigs.

Hi - yes I don't know ALL the locations they have but this site offers great hotel packages for 3 days 4 days & 8 days starting at $199, plus the are giving away a Companion Airfare voucher when you buy a package. You basically buy 1 regular price ticket & get the 2nd ticket free for your companion. If you look online you can find them - here is one site I know that offers them - they might have a good hotel deal in the Rockies too, I don't know all the locations they offer - good luck!

there are quite a few sites that you can search that will likely give you the best prices available. just go here: http://hs10.info/envs and you will be able to compare prices on all the reputable travel sites in just a couple minutes. it's very convenient and will save you a bunch of time and money. Also, make sure you buy them online... otherwise they charge much higher fees for phone orders. good luck.
