Connecting United Airlines flight at San Francisco International

Connecting United Airlines flight at San Francisco International?
I fly into SFO from Auckland using Air NZ next month (Mar 2009). The flight touches down at 11:30 AM and my connecting flight to Seattle using United Airlines departs SFO at 01:50 PM. Will my make it considering factors such as 1. Fog and weather conditions typical at SFO 2. Occupy last 3 rows of a almost fully loaded 747 - time to get out of the plane 3. Queue at Immigration counter - non US citizen (alien) 4. Collection of baggage and clearing customs 5. Baggage transfer to United 6. Passing through security at domestic terminal gate for United Air NZ and United codeshare and the baggage is tagged to the final destination upon check-in. No separate ticket booking. Kindly advise.

That should be plenty of time, as long as you don't get held up at customs. Hopefully its a weekday, it'll be a little slower in the airport. Good luck!

The detail and clarity of your question lends me to believe you are a well informed traveler. You have nothing to worry about the codeshare agreement and the 2 hrs + between conections means both airlines agree that barring unforseen circumstances you will make your conection. If not they will rebook you at no additional cost. You will have to reclaim your bags in SFO to clear US customs and immigration and then give your luggage to the transfer desk for your airline then all you have to do is clear TSA. Your pilots and aircraft are trained and equiped to deal with fog etc. So sit back and enjoy your flight.

No, you don't need transit visa. Frankfurt: An Airport Transit Visa (ATV) is not required of Indian nationals travelling on an Indian passport with a valid visa or other residence permit for the United States of America, or of Indian nationals who, after an authorized stay in the United States of America are travelling back to India. How long does a flight take from San Francisco to Vegas? From LA to Vegas

How long does a flight take from San Francisco to Vegas? From LA to Vegas?

San Francisco to Las Vegas is about 1 1/2 hour long plane flight. L.A. to Vegas is about an hour flight.
2 :
about 40 mins in the air between LAS and LAX and about 1.5 hours betwen LAS and SFO and you often get a load of turbulance
3 :
sf is like 90 minutes and la is 60- do not get sucked into a transfer in phoenix or you will go nutty.

Will Brisbane airport soon offer flights to San Francisco

Will Brisbane airport soon offer flights to San Francisco?
I saw a sign recently at the Brisbane airport (BNE) and it said something about flying to SFO. Will they soon start offering direct flights to San Francisco?

When I was there they didn't offer direct flights to San Francisco, you probably will be making a stop in Amsterdam first. http://www.yukiba.com/2174003-brisbane-australia-map.html
2 :
Maybe, but at the moment Qantas is cutting flights.
3 :
not anytime soon, IF we do get flights there they wont be for a couple of years, until Qantas gets its 787s but again this is unlikely And if you are going to SFO you WILL NOT make a stop in Amsterdam, this would be going backwards. Youd stop either in Auckland, Los Angeles or Sydney.

cheapest flight from san francisco to london

cheapest flight from san francisco to london?
leaving may 21 coming back whenever

try www.travelsnag.com pretty new site usually really good rates. Also remember when booking an airline ticket the cheapest rates will come 6 weeks in advance and if you stay over a week end you will get a better rate. example Friday to Friday.
2 :
I see you wrote come back whenever, but approximately how long do you want to be there? A week, a month, three months? for a week's stay, returning 5/30: SJC to London-Gatwick - $645 Northwest SFO to London - Heathrow - $657 American Airlines For a month's stay up to a two months stay (I searched return June 20 and Aug 22). Delta has a flight for $850 to London-Gatwick airport. Air Canada has a flight for $880 to London- Heathrow. You will generally (not always) find the cheapest rates if you fly on Tuesday's and Wednesday's. The exception are the airlines that have a flight a week to a destination, sometimes those are in the middle of the week and sometimes on the weekend. You may also find discount deals to the Gatwick airport, which is not as close to downtown London as the Heathrow (the main) airport. You should get your ticket very soon as you are traveling in less than three weeks. Thanks!!

Check out cheapair.com or cheapflights.com Its better if you put your own information in.

have you tried- www.travelation.com or www.kayak.com

What is the cheapest flight to London from San Francisco

What is the cheapest flight to London from San Francisco?
I am in a long distance relationship as of last Friday. We've been together since August 2006 and now he is back home to finish up school (he was studying at my school for a year). Money is tight but I really would like to fly over and see him before we start school again in the fall. He is broke as well (owes his mom a couple thousand and has to save up money for his final year of university over the summer. I want to go see him for a few weeks but found the cheapest flight to be $820. I've heard people getting over their cheaper. I'm planning on being their from July 16 - August 6th. Help me please, I've never felt so pathetic in my entire life and being able to see him in a month and a half (rather than next semester when I go over for Christmas) makes life ok. I know about the travel sites but maybe someone has a connection they can share with me. Please no answers saying we should break up, I know the reasons not to be in a LDR. But I've never felt this way before :)
