When I was on a flight from Chicago to San Francisco I saw many green circles over Denver. What are they?

they are crops any thing from Milo to corn or wheat depends on were you are at. they have these large moving sprinklers that turn in circles that's why the crops are in circles. here is a picture of one. need to get out of the city a little more.

Probably farmlands, areas that farmers clear after each crop in preparation for the new crops. It's nothing to do with UFO's.
