Park and Stay Hotels at San Francisco International Airport (SFO)

Park and Stay Hotels at San Francisco International Airport (SFO)?
I will be catching a flight out of San Francisco International Airport (SFO) next month. Since I live about two hours from SFO and since I have an early morning flight, I need to stay at a hotel close to SFO. I heard that some of the SFO hotels have a Park and Stay program. Does anyone have any experience with this? Can anyone recommend a quality hotel that is close to SFO that has this program without killing my travel budget?

Here are the park/sleep/fly hotels. Looks as if the cheapest rate is about $35-40/day for the parking. http://sanfrancisco.parksleepfly.com/#null Your other option would be to park at the SFO long-term parking lot. It's open 24 hours a day and costs $14/day. http://www.flysfo.com/web/page/parking/options/long-term/

Visa required to Taiwan in a connection flight

Visa required to Taiwan in a connection flight?
I'm from Brazil. Next february I will flight from San Francisco to Bangkok via Air China, with a 5-hour stop in Taipei for changing planes. I will not leave the airport. Do I need a VISA? It seems very hard to find the answer in the Internet.

If you check the IATA database which is used by aircraft carriers to determine the required documents of their passengers you will get the following result: TWOV (Transit Without Visa): Visa required, except for those passengers continuing their journey to a third country by the same or connecting aircraft on the same day of their arrival, provided: a. holding tickets with confirmed seats and other travel documents required for their onward journey; and b. not leaving the transit lounge unless under observation of an immigration guard. Passengers arriving after midnight must be escorted by the carrier to the transit hotel. If passengers want to stay in the transit lounge permission from the police bureau must be obtained (to be arranged by the carrier); and c. the receiving carrier is advised of the passengers' names and connecting flight number and destination, prior to passengers' arrival. (When passengers' manifest is dispatched by cable, the code of "TWOV" should be marked together with the connecting flight number and destination. For connection the time interval of at least 60 minutes is necessary, and TWOV shall not be granted for connection less than 60 minutes. No, you do not need a visa for connecting flight within 24 hours by staying inside the transit zone or area in Taipei Taoyuan Int Airport.
3 :
No, you don't need a visa for changing flights since you are not "entering" the country. However, you can only stay within the transit zones. Should you try to "enter" Taiwan by going through the customs, you will need a visa. By the way, I believe you are taking "China Airlines"; not "Air China". China Airlines is a Taiwanese airline while Air China is a Chinese airline. I don't believe Air China is allowed to stop over in Taiwan.

Just very directly answer your question: NO visa required.

About how long is a flight from Sydney, Australia to San Francisco, CA

About how long is a flight from Sydney, Australia to San Francisco, CA?
About how long without a layover and about how long with a layover possibly in Hawaii?

31 hours

I am not sure. Is there a layover to change planes in Hawaii? When I flew home from the Viet Nam era it took nine hours from Japan to Frisco.
3 :
18 hours

14 hours and 45 minutes nonstop on United. You will get a better fare, and have a nicer flight (with meals and such), if you take Hawaiian. You can also layover in Honolulu if you wish. Hawaiian leaves Sydney three days a week ... Sunday, Wednesday and Friday ... and gets to Honolulu about 10:00 AM the same day. All the west coast flights depart about 1:00 PM. Try the digE players. The flight from Sydney to Honolulu is about 9 1/2 hours. Add about 5 hours more to SF, San Jose or Sacramento.

its a good 14 1/2 hr flight
