what entertainment is available onboard a philippines airline flight from San Francisco to Manila?
I am flying today....just wondering what I will need to take for entertainment

Well it depends on the flight you're taking, but i believe in all airlines they provide scheduled movies and they have music stations. But I suggest you bring your own source of entertainment such as: a laptop, psp, ipod, A LOT of magazines (these helped a lot during my flight), or crossword books, etc. because I had a relative who came here from the states too and she told me that something was wrong with the movie screens so they didn't show any movies.

Omigod! That's like 12hours. The flight feels like forever. But the planes should have those monitor thingies where that lets you watch movies and there are some inflight music too.

If you are in the first class cabin you can access any latest entertainment available on board. If you are in economy........whatever they gave!

intertaiment! lol your surely joking, my advise is to stay up really late the night before and take a strong sleeping pill just before the flight .viva the midnight express!

You have movies during the long flights, all of the airlines have movies and short subjects.. If you are in first class or business you have individual movie screens. On old 747's most of the movies are on a big screen in the cheap seats. On newer Airbus airplanes you might even have TV screens on the seat backs over the trays. Sometimes you have live entertainment with babies crying, drunks cursing and noisy talkers. Ear plugs and a blindfold don't take up a lot of room. A blow up neck pillow also won't take up a lot of room. Bring a book to read. Remember to get up often during the flight to stretch a bit and prevent blood clots. I fly a lot and read until I can't hold my eyes open then doze off - repeat as necessary. The more electronic junk you bring with you the more you have to worry about! God luck.
