What is the lowest price I can get on the flight from San Francisco, CA to San Jose, Costa Rico?
Looking up online I found $444 now, but kayak.com also shows that it was $408 few days ago. I also see that few agencies sell vacation packages, including air and 4 night hotel from SF to Costa Rica, for $499. This mans that air price should be much less than $400. So what is the lowest price I can expect and how to get it?

When do you fly to Costa Rica? . I just checked for instance early February (departure on Feb. 2, return on Feb. 9) and I got a return ticket San Francisco - San Jose at US$ 278 , incl charges and taxes at Travelocity. there are quite a few sites that you can search that will likely give you the best prices available. check out the website BookMe and you will be able to compare prices on all the reputable travel sites in just a couple minutes. it's very convenient and will save you a bunch of time and money. Also, make sure you buy them online... otherwise they charge much higher fees for phone orders. good luck.

No, it means if you book the package, you get the package price. If you buy the airfare separately it will be MUCH more expensive.
